I'm curious to see what wood chews your chin best reacts to. My chins have had kiln dried pine, pear, willow and elm I think (If I say anything wrong it's because I'm half zonked, tired.) So far they've liked pear the best.
What does your chin like?

So far, apple and mulberry is the favorite. As far as non-wood goes, Rigel loves bagels...A LOT. Siri is perfectly content with his apple wood.

All 3 of ours love applewood. Daphne and Sadie like grapevines but Fred doesn't. That's all they chew on.

Manzanita is the hands down favorite here, followed by apple!

I'm trying to figure out what trees I need to get from my grandma. Her and my step-grandpa run a nursury, so I can get a lot of trees and plants at half price (It's awesome to be the favorite =] )
I'll ask her about apple, mulberry, and grape vine. See how much about 5 of each would run me.

Apple is always the first wood gone here. They do love most of the woods that PetProductsByNature sells as well, so happy they have their web-site again!!

I just ordered some Mulberry coins from there because they are running a deal. For every 10 you buy you get 10 free. Can't wait to get them. :high5:

Can't say Sesame has a favorite, but I've noticed she likes the same type of wood from one vendor vs. another. So, I would have to say when the wood was removed from the tree and how it's been prepped really makes the difference... but I don't know if that's truly the reason why. Chins can be sorta fickle...

I received Ash wood one time in a little sampler bag and my chins didn't just chew the bark off, but chewed the whole stick down to little splinters. Every other wood they have tried, they just chew off the bark.

Grapevine. I know it's thin to start with, but they chew it all the way through and they LOVE it. Not just like the wreaths, I buy just the plain grapevine sticks (thanks Carise!!!) and they go bonkers, haha!!

In order: apple, crabapple, elm, ash, mulberry, grapevine, the others they like about the same. Mine will hardly touch pear and cottonwood.

Mine like their kiln dried pine shelves the best. They also love apple twigs, but I have sen the twigs get passed up for a good chewing session on a shelf. Go figure.

Yup, my girl also loves bagels too! I have the little one inch ones and she hops around with so much excitement when I give her one. haha

She also loves pear, mulberry and apple. I haven't tried other woods though.
She doesn't touch pine, guess its not tasty enough. lol

I've only offered apple and willow so far. Tink doesn't care for willow, but absolutely loves apple sticks.

Apple by far, though mostly for the bark. Has to be thin twigs. She doesn't really like pear or elm. Wood to chew is poplar or pine, but again, it has to be more of a stick. She won't chew blocks or coins.

Mine all really like the KD pine chew chuncks we cut up for them.
