Lately in my female chin weve been noticing that she has a little bit of yellow right underneath her vaginal area. It looked like it might have been just urine, and gave it a couple days and it looked like it went away. Now ive noticed it again, along with a tiny bit of matted fur around the area too.

Along those lines, we think she may possibly be pregnant, but it is recent if at all, so hard to tell.

She doesnt seem to be acting differently at all or down at all, just drinking a little bit more water and eating more.

If anyone could offer any advice or tips it would be greatly apprectiated
Thanks

First concern is housekeeping. If she likes to piddle in the same spot she sits this will cause a problem and that corner may need to be cleaned more often.

If she is pregnant she may have pressure on her bladder which is causing her to urinate more often along with added hormones. Bath her more often or you can put a cracker or large pickle jar in her cage with some dust in the bottom for several days to help clean her up, usually they'll sit in and it will help keep their bottom's cleaner, but it needs to be checked or cleaned daily because she will probably potty in it.

So, I thought this was somewhat normal/common. I see it in our little one, since she has the white fur it is very noticeable. It's a little better with regular dust baths, but still noticeable. She is on fleece, and we just put a litter pan in. If I should be more concerned about this, I'd like to know.

Generally it's because they dribble or sit in the same spot for a long time. The litter pan will probably help, I personally don't find fleece very absorptive and that may be part of it. Unless she's a really big mess, like an inch radius around her girl parts then it's usually nothing to worry about. If it's a very large area or she's cleaning herself a lot then it could be a sign there is something else going on.

Thanks for the response. She seems to have a habit of butt scooting when she pees, maybe that's getting her fur a bit soiled when it rubs against the fleece. I'll just keep an eye on it, and hope she just sprinkles when she tinkles.

My Cindy Sue is white too and does the same thing when she pees. She also has a little yellow stain. It's just behind her vagina. I use to worry too but now realize it's just from her scooting.
