since you already put the pans in, I'm assuming that if its a problem you would have realized it already. But for my chins, there running around in the cage with those pans was an issue. That metal on metal clanging sound form the pan hitting the cage every time they moved was irritating. I ended up putting a sheet of fleece between the cage bars and the tray. It rly helps absorb the sound.

Mine don't clang. In fact they fit like a glove. We had a heck of a time wedging them in there. Which made us go do a little research because they are suppose to be an inch short for a CN. Turns out we have one of the new FN that slide together without hardware instead of what we were told. It may also help that we have heavy items on ours. Those houses they came with are the heaviest duty wood I have seen. I've looked everywhere for something nearly as durable to their chewing. They took a 5" diameter circle out of the corners of their plastic pans and all they've done to the houses is round the corners off. They are also large houses taking up 1/3rd of the back. They may outlast the chins which is impressive.
