We came home from picking up our new additions to a terrific surprise! 2 **** Ebony males out of our Color section champion White ebony male Valentino and our 1st place **** ebony female Bindi Sue II!! These boys are sooo sooo adorable! I will post pics of them tomorrow after I get all the new chins settled in.

Correct my genetics here, but isn't a **** eb only possible in a single kit litter?

Genetics is just a bunch of probability. You can absolutely have 2 **** ebonies born in the same litter, however, the probability of it happening is a lot less than say 1 **** eb and 1 hetero eb, or even just 1 **** eb. That said, I try to shy away from calling extra dark ebonies as "****" ebonies. Extra dark ebony is a much more accurate color description, and you can't be completely sure of its genotype even the chin is an extra dark ebony. But anywhos, I digress. Congrats Chingal on two lovely cutiepies!

The only reason I say **** eb on these boys as normally I say All black ebony is because of the line of genetics involved. Anyway no worries everyone has their own way of saying ebony..It does not really matter just another way of saying these boys are all black.

Wow, what gorgeous boys! I am so jealous! I am still waiting for my first extra dark eb to be born here......come on Lola!!!!

Congrats Trin, they are very nice looking! I wish you had some girls...

I haven't seen that bit of information yet, where did you hear/read it?

That would be like saying a **** beige can only be produced in a single kit litter, and we know that isn't the case. :)

Hopefully we will get girls next time ... if I get extra you know where they will be going since I do not sell anymore.
