Wooden Shelves?

Hi,

I am getting a chinchilla soon. I know that it is highly recommended that you replace the shelves that come with cages with wooden shelves.

How would you go about doing this?

You can go to home depot and pick up kiln dried pine, cut it to appropriate size, then use washers and bolts to screw it in.

i know there is at least one tutorial on here that explains in detail how to make shelves for a chin's cage. using the search feature would have directed you to it.
