I went to Walmart yesterday to buy some cleaning supplies. One of the items I purchased was a 2.50 scrub brush. When I took it to the register it didn't have a tag on it, so I went back to get one for her to scan. I went through my bags tonight and noticed the cashier had given me both by accident and only charged me for one. I have other items to return, and have the receipt for them. But I'm wondering if they would be able to tell who the cashier is by the receipt when I return the other items? I was taking the extra brush back with me and tell them what happened, but I don't want to get her in trouble over 2.50.

That's very honest of you. :)

I really doubt that would get the cashier in trouble, but if it makes you rest easier...just explain how it happened.

I doubt she'll get in trouble. That's happen to us before, we returned it with no problem and everything was fine. Just an honest mistake she made :)

The cashier will not get in trouble, it was an honest accident. And it is very honest of you to bring it back. Dont worry, do exactly what you described you were going to do, bring it back, show the receipt, and explained what happened.

Thanks guys! It's not mine to keep, I feel guilty having it. I'm an honest person :)
