So yet another child goes missing and no one knows anything? Halleigh Cummings is all of a sudden missing--the last person to see her, the 17 year old girlfriend of Halleigh's father. She's been missing a month, her father appears devastated--YET, he's applied for a marriage license and he and his underage girlfriend plan to marry as soon as possible.

Why do we need a judicial system? Come on people, you want to marry her so she can't say anything against you, or you against her as per spousal privledge.

How can you honestly be devastated and concerned about your 5 year old missing daughter if you have the forethought to go and apply for a flipping marriage license.

Seriously! This hacks me off so much. Caylee Anthony's mom killed her we all know it, and now this little girl. What the he!! is going on?! I'm getting so sick of this crap.

I just read that story and this is seriously weird. First of all, what's this dude doing with a 17-y/ol girlfriend, and why the hell he thinks about wedding when his daughter is just found missing. I hope the parent's of the girlfriend have some sense..

I have to agree. When i saw this on the news, i couldnt believe it. I just have a BAD feeling about this..that again, there is far more than we know. The girlfriend is most definitely someone of interest. Caylee was the first thing to pop into mind. This is all still so fresh from that, poor FL. (it was fl, correct?)

I dont know many details about this case at all, im trying to avoid it as much as possible. The i'd say the world is a bad place, but its really just a good portion of the people.

Yeah I read that she (the underage gf) originally told police the girl was wearing something that was later found in the house. But on the other hand, I also read that something like 43 registered sex offenders lived within like 15mi radius of their trailer. Who knows...it's likely the parents had something to do with it...

I don't like to bum everyone out more... but this kind of thing happens every day and all around Canada and the US. It's not that it's happening more, the media is just showing you more of it.

The father and girlfriend are getting married today. My last name is Cummings, I have a 5 year old son Named Hayden and he looks just like that little girl and with us living in Florida only about 20 minutes from were the girl lives we get asked about that case alot. My sons teacher thought that my son and her were close cousins but we have no relation to them thank goodness because I would probably be arrested for smacking the dad and girlfriend. I know If one of my children were missing i would be traveling to the ends of the earth to find my child not getting married. I hope they find her soon safe but I doubt it.
