what water filter is better PUR or Brita?

I prefer the PUR3 on sink filter.

I use the Pur pitcher for my chins - I use gallon water bottles to hold the water after filtering. I believe Pur is the only one that filters out almost everything

Last I checked, PUR3 was the only one that filtered out giardia and cryptosporidium.

Make sure the filter you're using is the 3-step version that will filter out giardia as Airyn stated. That's one of the more important factor when choosing a water filter.
