Where to buy fleece?

In the past I've purchased my fleece from Joann's or Hobby Lobby, however I just can't get over how expensive it is. Has anyone found any vendors who sell quality fleece for a better price? I bought some stuff at walmart once, but it started pilling pretty heavily after a few washes. :hmm:

i did a quick google lookie loo and it seems Hancocks in your city has decent pricing on fleece. here's a link to their 'value priced fabrics': http://www.hancockfabrics.com/Value-Priced-Fabric_stcVVcatId553751VVviewcat.htm i see white, black, and yellow on the first page for $4.95 a yard, although it doesn't specify that it's anti pill. i'm sure they'd have anti pill and in other colours too.

I'm going to have to start buying all my fleece online. The local store here charges $13/yd and there's not another store for well over an hour. :tantrum:

I bought a few yards of fleece from SYFabrics. I was very happy with my purchases. Sometimes if you look at the right time you can get good deals from Joann's. They just finished up a 50% off sale on fleece Saturday. I bought to much..... My husband has now dubbed me a fleece hoarder!!

I purchased a ton from Jomar's fabrics here in Philly. I'm not sure if they are nationwide, but fleece was on sale for 2.59 a yrd, and the guy who works there always makes a "mistake" of cutting a yard or two, too much, if you buy a lot.
