Where do you get your wood from?

I would assume not from Lowes since most of what they carry is treated or pine. Unless I've over looked clean wood. Like to make a few ledges and etc from my chins.

Lowes is fine, just make sure what you get is stamped kiln dried pine. Or you can find poplar there too. You can also find good wood at Home Depot and ACE Hardware. Just make sure it has a stamp or tag on it so you can identify what it is.

Home Depot for our wood. Though Lowe's should be fine, they have KD pine last time I checked.

UPDATE: Went to Lowes to the shelves section the wood didn't say on the tag or on the ends that it was KD but the sign above and to the right did say so but about where it said it, it said "laminated" as well. finally went on Lowes website via phone and it was this
