Well my chinchilla is very VERY fat. Although, he loves to run on his wheels. But they keep breaking! We have bought about more then 10 wheels at the price of 25$ . They keep breaking under his weight as it seems. Or they are just very cheep. We got a new wheel that is more expensive but he doesn't seem to enjoy it as much. Although it has stayed together I don't like it and he doesn't either. I need a new wheel brand I think..... What wheels do you use? What ones would you recommend?

Your wheels are most likely cheaply made. I find it hard to believe that a chin is so fat that he has broken 10 wheels. You could have bought a really good one for 1/3 of what you paid for those you bought and he would still be using it.

Try a flying saucer (metal, not junk plastic) or a Leo Braun type wheel (again, metal, no spokes/mesh).

Exactly... those cheap plastic wheels/saucers from the pet stores are crap. A few good options are what tunes mentioned above as well as the chin spin and the silver surfer.

The silver surfer is probably going to be the cheapest unless you find a used one of the above mentioned wheels.

I went through 3 wheels in just as many months when I first got Lola and she was really little but loved to run. After doing some searching on the web (wasn't a member of Chins&Hedgies) I found the Chinspin 15".

It has been going strong for almost a year now with no issue.

The pet store wheels available are not only cheaply made but dangerous and can cause serious injury.

qualitycage.com for the Chinspin and there is a Leo Braun wheel at chinnieshop.com

Both come highly rated.

I have a question about a wheel too i am not sure wich one to buy the silver surfer or the chin spin is one better then the other or more safe

If you'll use the search function at the top of the forum page, you'll find MANY threads on wheel comparisions. That might help you make a decision.
