for a used single level Critter Nation?

the lady selling it says she has no way of emailing photos (hmmmm..... that's a lil hard to believe, lol), but says the dimensions are 3 feet x 2 feet x 2.2 feet. Midwest website says the single level CN is 36"L x 24"W x 39"H. (i'm confused over the dimesions descrepancy between this lady and Midwest).

The resale value in Canada is much higher than USA. I find FN or CN will be a lot higher second hand than what people in the USA can get for them.

I would go see the cage to make sure it is what she says or wait for pics. I'm not sure on cost but a new CN single level goes for around $200 near me.

Midwest is counting the legs and wheels. She might not be.

I would not expect for than 75-100 for a used one in good to great condition. There is still a showroom drop in price.

she's asking 75 for it. i would like to see photos before i go look at it, since traveling by bus when it's -30 celcius with the wind chill, and roads like absolute skating rinks, isn't my idea of a fun time to go look at something to decide if i want to buy it or not, lol.

in petsmart today, a double level FN was just over 200 brand new.

Critter Nations are more than Ferret Nations due to the difference in bar spacing and the "novelty" of them being a new item. So you may look at a price of around $300 or so for a new CN vs the $200 of a now FN. Just some food for thought :)

I would pay $75. They are pretty sturdy cages and probably the only thing likely to be damaged or gross beyond a good scrubbing is the plastic pan...but you can get a replacement metal ones from Bass Equipment. You can also get replacement wheels at the hardware store if those are damaged. Just make sure the door latches securely and there's no sign of rust.

Many people can not get pictures online...usually simply because they don't know how. If you really want it, I think it'd be worth the trip to go take a look.
