I always though my girls were just mosaics until I read more about them and saw more pictures. Can someone tell me what breed they are? There are so many names that I can't tell what they are. I have seen the mom and dad. Dad is obviously Dark Ebony, mom is a mosaic and is pretty white but has the gray ears going and black eyes.
So here goes the picture of one of the Sparkle. She is actually a tad bit lighter than this picture. Tinker don't really have too much of whole body shots. But looks runtier and the color is more like the picture of Sparkle. Only thing is Tinker's white tip is barely there unlike her sister big patch of white.

They are still just mosaics. If one parent is ebony, some people will use the term white ebony to denote the fact that ebony is in the genes.

got it thanks. I got soooooooo confused reading about, ebony mosaic, mosaic, silver mosaic. Mosaic it is! Imagine the question pops up in my head after having them for close to 3 months sish.

I would categorize her as adorable! :) I agree, sometimes the coloration names are pretty confusing! When we have a chinchilla as Pet of the Day, I just use whatever the person tells me, unless it is blatantly wrong! I can tell the difference between a Standard Grey and an Ebony, but other, more subtle distinctions are often hard to identify!
