What would be better for the Ferret Nation cage?

When i get the Ferret Nation 142 cage. I know i will be taking out all ramps. But what i was wondering is should i take out the floor for the top cage? Or leave it there. I will be adding a bunch of shelfs either way.

So what would be better for my chin. To completely take out the floor of the top cage. The reason i am leaning toward keeping it in, is because if for some old reason my chin would miss a ledge there is less of a fall.

So what is your opinon on this matter?

As long is there is a ledge not to far down breaking the chins fall it is fine
