What kind of fleece?

I've just unearthed an old sewing machine and want to start making my own items. Does it matter what kind of fleece I use? I'm on fabric.com looking, and they've got Micro Terry Fleece, Organic Fleece, Combed Cotton Sweatshirt Fleece, Military Fleece... Help :wacko:

Any kind works, but the blizzard fleece or the thicker kind lasts the longest. I would not use the micro terry fleece or the cotton sweatshirt fleece, just because I don't know what that is! Just regular old fleece, walmart or joannes fabric sells it too.

i get mine from joanns or walmart. just the standard fleece........the thicker the better.

Alright, thanks! Our local Joann's just went under, but I'll just order online. And we don't have a local Walmart xD.

You can order fleece from JoAnns online. Just wait until its on sale and you can get a free shipping coupon if your order is over $25 (I think it was Joannship25 this month). I got 8 yards of blizzard print fleece for $39, no shipping charge - pretty good deal.
