What kind of comb to get?

I think Cinnamon needs a good comb! Her fur is much denser and fluffier than Vincenza's and it seems like she's shedding. We've waited for about a month to see if it gets better (it has, a little, but pick her up and boy am I left covered in fur.)

She's not losing it in patchy places or biting. It's mostly coming out in loose clumps but the rest of her coat is fine. She already had her vet exam and he says she's a ok with no fungus.

She does have dry ears though


I have no idea what kind of comb to get! Any ideas? Advice?

To really get a good combing of all the dead fur, I use a #3 show comb.

You can get show combs from Shoots chinchilla ranch, Ryersons have some #3 combs left too I think. Show combs are expensive, compared to a dog or cat comb that won't get 1/4 of the hair, but so well worth the money even if you don't show.
