I've had a few people contact me asking me where in the world I went, so thought I would post a little update for those who cared :)
I still check in, I just don't really have the time to sit down to read and post.

Some of you may know that we recently found out that my grandpa's cancer had metastized in his brain. He's been progressively getting worse, so I made the decision to move in with my grandparents to help my grandma with his care. He is very stubborn (which may or may not be a good thing ;) ) but still needs help with everyday things. My grandma was trying to work full time to keep insurance along with taking care of him, so I made the decision to move in & help out. My grandpa is going tomorrow to IU Med Center for Gamma Knife surgery on his brain tumor, so please keep him in your thoughts & prayers for a successful treatment.

In my life, I've recently been accepted into a Veterinary Technology program up in Indianapolis. I had began questioning what I wanted to do when I graduated college with a degree in Biology. I wanted to work with animals and I also wanted to go into the medical field, so I just combined the two. Phil, my boyfriend, recently passed his boards and began a registered radiology technologist, so he has been applying at hospitals up in Indy. We found an apartment we really like and are going next week to put a deposit down. It's about 3 hours away from my hometown, and I've never really been accustomed to big city living, so it's going to be a pretty big change for me...but I'm very excited!

All the chinnie boys are doing great. My 3 new babies are growing like weeds. Moose was the smallest when I got them but he is quickly blowing up and is almost the same size as his oldest brother, Bostin. I'm hoping to get some updated pics of all the kids soon and post them :) Felix didn't do too great with the move. He has been very stressed lately so I've been trying to spend at least an hour with him every day to try to help calm him down. He's just such a finicky little guy.

Whew, anyway, sorry for the novel. Just thought I would touch base with everyone. Hopefully things begin to settle down and I'll be able to participate in the forum more again.

Stackie! I'm so glad you posted - we've all been wondering where you were.

I'm very sorry to hear things are not going well with grandpa. Hopefully this surgery tomorrow can help, even if only in the short term.

I'm glad to hear the boys are doing so well. I'd love to see pictures of them, especially Moose, since his mom gave me a beautiful black velvet girl and Moose was her first offspring. I'd love to know what to expect from this little one as well.

Try and keep us posted when you have time. Even if you need to vent about grandpa, we'd love to know you're alright.

I have been wondering what you had been up to. Keep us updated and I am sorry about your Grandpa.

Stacie, so good to hear from you. I know all about caring for a loved one with cancer as we are caring for Lisa 24/7. I wish you had more help than just you and your grandma. You are always in my thoughts as you go through this Stacie. I will pray for the best for your grandpa.
Give all the boys kisses from Auntie Laurie especially Moose! LOL!

I will keep your gramps in my thoughts!

Congrats on getting accepted into Vet Tech! How exciting to find a place and make such a big move. I wish you the best of luck.

Oh, Stacie, it's so good to hear from you!!! I've been missing you and all of the Playchins, especially Smudgie :)

I'll keep you and your family in my prayers and look forward to seeing some new pictures and more frequent updates soon.

MISS YOU :hearts:

Sorry about your grandpa. I'm sure with everything going on in your life that your grandparents know that they are very lucky to have you and your chinnies :D!

I'm so sorry to hear about your Grandpa. I hope all goes well today with the surgery and he will come through with flying colors.

There have been many of us worried about where you were, hopefully life will settle down and return to some level of norm for you again. We have missed seeing you.

Thanks everyone! G-ma & g-pa left at 5 a.m. this morning for Indy and got there in time for his appointment at 8. He's been fitted for the frame that attaches to the head & undergone MRI to pinpoint the tumor. From what I last heard, they were preparing their course of action and getting ready to move him into the Gamma Knife room to get started.

I took some pics of the kiddos but I must have lost my USB cable for my camera in the move. I ordered a new one off of e-bay though, so it'll be a few days. ;)
