Critical Care is a food replacement used when chins are not able to eat on their own, be it because of an illness, injury, etc. It is generally mixed up with water and syringe fed to a chin who is not eating on their own.
It's always a good idea to have some on hand in case a chin should suddenly stop eating for whatever reason. It is not good for them to go off their feed because their digestive system will shut down which is both painful and deadly.
