Your cage looks great. I personally would remove the bottom plastic shelf and replace it with wood. If you can't remove it then I suggest covering it with fleece. You could also add a few more little perch ledges if you want, my chin loves hers. Great job with the cage so far.

I agree with Cindy, I would remove the plastic shelf and if I were you I would just add some hanging toys, additional ledges (my chinnie loves her corner ledges on the top level since it's the highest up she can get), and a water bottle? Other than that, I think it looks great!

By the way, I LOVE your fleece!! It's sooo cute!!

I think you did a great job! Maybe some ledges like mentioned, and if you wanted more "Pink Power" you could go crazy, I mean CRAZY, and use some of that pretty fabric to wrap across the back and sides if you wanted to contain any of flying chinchilla tick tacs, but it's not really necessary.

Thanks for the advice! P.S. the water bottle is on the side you just can't see it and the fleece was in the wash. Lol

I'm so jealous of your bridge! I'm trying to make one, but having a hard time cutting the little pieces since I don't have a table. And your hidey house is on a shelf, too! Also jealous.

Maybe a few more perches? I just chopped up some kd pine from Home Depot and now I have a board for extra if ever I need more. I know my boys adore the lava ledge I have in my cage, too. Maybe a few more hanging toys? I've been investigating hanging toys of the non-kabob variety. I used some wire and strung loofah on it to make a sort of sideways hanging toy and I'm trying to make a circular one but not doing very good of a job!

Looks great so far!
