What does Chin saliva contain?

something i was wondering last night. I have a little gash right in the center of my hand. When i was petting my girl last night she started licking it. It had a slight burn to it like peroxide would. So it got me wondering'

Chin saliva can cause saliva burn to the skin when there is drool, not sure if its because of the PH or the enzymes.
