Hey folks,
My name is Kevin, i'm from Minnesota, and I am planning on getting a hedgehog as soon as my gf and I move into our new apartment next month. We have almost everything ready, I just want to list it to make sure I'm not missing anything.

-Two 100w CHEs
-Two ceramic lamps
-Thermostat
*- I have heard plenty about the silent spinner breaking, tipping over, and making it tough for the hedgie to get in and out. We will weight the wheel down and I may grind the lip on the edge completely off, if he truly has a tough time using it. If the slanted running surface is too much, we will just scrap it and buy a bucket wheel, but since we already have it, there is no harm in trying
Finally, we have our vet, and we have a few dry cat food brands picked out, but we still have to see what's available locally. I think that about rounds it out, but I'm sure I'm missing things (medications and whatnot, but we have a checklist for specifics). Would like to hear comments or suggestions about the setup, I think we're almost ready to welcome a hedgie into our home!
