Weird kitty ?

My cat Raven is not that affectionate with most people. Not really to me either most of the time! I began bringing her in my room to sleep at night several months ago. It's not every night though. She sleeps on the end of the bed if my dog is sleeping with me, but curls up next to me or on my back if the dog isn't. She cries and paws at the door when she wants in. But then sits there and stares at me before running away or takes ten mins to sniff my carpet and slowly walk in. I go to catch her and she runs away...but she seems happy sleeping in my room. Once I do catch her and bring her in to sleep with me she is an attention hog. She cries at the door at paws at it if she wants out. She has a litter box in my room as well. I'm just confused as to why she runs away when she acts like she wants to come in?

a lot of the cats i have had did/do that they act like they want i a room but then decide against it. i gotten so used to it i now shrugg it off a stupid cat behavior.
different methods to break the cats of the habit ignoring them/ punishing them. it never seemed to work so i just learned to live with it.
i don't know why cats do that but from my experience its a common occurrence. and nothing to really worry about.
