Ever since I've had Lilly, she can't drink out of the water bottle. That or doesn't know how to. She runs up to the water bottle and wait expectantly for me to squeeze it so water will come out. I don't want to not do it because I don't know if she'll still not drink out of it. I've already bought another water bottle but it's still the same problem. it's a ball type bottle.

You can try breaking open a raisin and rubbing the gooeyness on the tip of the water bottle. Usually that is enough to get them to lick it! Good luck!

a method i used was i got an oat soggy and stuck it to the spout thing and my chin figured it out. another method i used was grabbing a treat leading the chin to the waterbottle and holding the treat against the spout and voila she found water when she tried to eat the treat.

I use the ball types too and all of mine took a little time getting used to it. Survival and necessity makes them learn fast. They will figure it out in time...
The problem I had is that each of my 3 did the same thing. After they figured out how to use it, they thought it was a toy and emptied the bottle in less than a day... Wet soggy wood shaving everywhere!
They all only did it once or twice each and then it's no longer fun and they now use it properly.
