Water bottle that doesn't leak

Anyone have any recommendation on a good water bottle that doesn't leak?? I've had a large glass water bottle and all of a sudden it's started to leak.

All of the bottles that have the valve system that's on the " edstrom water buddy" don't leak, but I've yet to find one that is made out of glass unfortunately. So it's either deal with potential leaks or get a plastic one and buy a metal guard for it.

I have both the superpet and lixit bottles and they both leak slightly, only when the cage is being moved though or when I first put the bottle back on the cage. I usually put a paper towel under the bottle for a few moments then wipe the nozzle with it so it creates a vacuum until it stops leaking.

I have the lixit ones and love them. They do drip for a few seconds after you put them back on the cage but nothing like all the super pet ones Ive used in the past.

I have found that if you have one of the old superpet glass ones that the lixit, or living world(ones they sell at Petsmart) nozzle will fit on to the end of the bottle.

Also if you have one of the nozzles listed above you can put a standard human waterbottle on it. I have used these before in a pinch, i.e. Queen clumsy drops the glass water bottle!

Are you sure the rubber gasket is in properly? Sometimes they move over time and it will cause a bottle to leak. You need to reposition it to make sure it is level all the way around inside the cap.

Sometimes bottles leak or don't work if the bottle itself is not really vertical, but is leaning back. I like to use those little spring holders that keep the bottle firmly against the cage and not tilted back.

I found with the glass bottles the cap has to be screwed on tight

Lixit bottle w/ edstrom valve- I've never had a problem.

My vote is for either the lixit or the Water Buddy, I use both. The Lixit will leak for a few seconds, but I've never had an issue with it leaking more than a few drops when I put one in. They're easier to find online and in stores. The water buddy is no longer made so it's harder to find, and is plastic so you need to buy the metal guard for it as well.

Oh finaly i find a forum who can help me. I have a wather bottel who leaks. so tnx for help
