I'm using the Edstrom Water Buddy now but they have discontinued the line and stopped making them now. I'm thinking about getting a new water bottle for my chin.

Just wondering if any of you guys have any suggestions in terms of water bottles.

thank you soo much <3

I use both the lixit and superpet water bottles but I prefer the lixit bottles as they are easier to clean for me.

I like the lixit glass water bottles too. If you fill them up all the way (even if you're changing the water bottle every day or two) they don't leak.

I use the lixit glass bottle and I have not had any problems with it leaking. It's also very easy to clean :)

i have the superpet glass one and i love it. easy to clean for me and doesn't leak. best part is, Rhino can't chew through it like he did his previous plastic one! lol.

that water bottle you linked to is exactly the same as the superpet glass one, just a different brand name on it.

the nozzle cap (where the threads are) is plastic, but there is a metal sleeve/guard that slides over it (see that white line above the metal?). it is a ball bearing type nozzle.

Thanks for the clarification. And I see what you mean on the one I linked.

But like this one, for example http://www.drsfostersmith.com/product/prod_display.cfm?pcatid=21311 appears to have the (hard) plastic cover on the top part of the nozzle. Even though the nozzle is long, I've already noticed one of my chins "exploring" that area of the bottle and trying it out with his teeth, Does that make sense?

makes total sense! lol. Rhino is a plastic addict. if he had that water bottle you just linked, he'd be chewing the nozzle cap area in no time! that's why i went with the superpet one with the metal guard.

I'm such a goober.

So all this time I've complained about my Super Pet, believing it to be "stopped up" so to speak with no water flow.

I was determined to find a way to fix it. I fooled around with it, and lo and behold, I discovered the problem--I didn't have the nozzle on tight enough (I thought it was on pretty tight but guess not). :banghead:

The good part is now it works right, and I don't have to go buy another one anytime soon. :duh:
