VPI pet insurance.. worth it?

I just got a job and they offer VPI Pet insurance.

I called the company and they said they don't cover general check-ups or x-rays.

Is this worth it? I have an 11 month year old standard male and a 10 month old standard male.

It seems like it'd be cheaper to just wait until we have issues. $22 a month is a lot and adds up over time.

Its not really worth much. I work at a vets office and more often than not people are deniged for routine visits, and never covered for injuries. We always advise carecredit as a back up plan. It acts as a emergency health card card. It offers 6 months no interest which allows you to break up the costs for you and most places accept it now.
