This is real simple.

1lb venison hamburg
1 package lipton onion soup
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
1 can milk
8oz sour cream
egg noodles


Brown venison with lipton soup mix. Add mushroom soup, milk, and sour cream. Simmer. Prepare noodles and mix all together.

It comes out very good and I am not much of a venison eater.

That's pretty much the way I make my regular stroganoff. :) I'm definitely not a venison eater, but it's darn good and quick with beef.
 
Hmmm... I've got a pound of venison/hamburger sitting in my freezer. Might have to try this.

Jessica, any other ideas for what I can do with it? We only eat venison once every other month or so.
 
We also make venison spaghetti and venison meatloaf. Both are very good. I think, personally, my favorite is the venison spaghetti.
 
i fried venison last night yummmm.

when my brother kills a deer and cuts it for me I have him cut it into stew meat, fry meat, we ground some and cut it into roast and of course back strap and rice yummmm.

Ricky keeps wanting to put the tenderloin in flour and put it in oil... but ick! I usually always bake or broil my meats so the concept of fried is pretty bad... though I'm sure if I tried it I wouldn't think so badly of it.

Anyone used venison hamburger for... hamburgers? That pound is staring at me every time I open the freezer. Luckily the tenderloin and round steak is hidden under the rest of the frozen meat.
 
I don't know that I would do venison hamburgers--to me there is not enough fat to beef ratio to make a good burger. I've done venison spaghetti and meatloaf though and it was good. If you do hamburgers I recommend wrapping the burger in bacon like tenderloin for some added flavor since it may be dry.
