Well, it's winter and I'd like to get away!

Where would you go if you could?
Do you have a list of places you'd like to visit someday? (If so, what's on it?)
What's your favorite place you've been so far?
Have any exciting adventures coming up?
Etc....

For me, I :heart3: Latin America. I've been to Mexico a lot and I think if I could go anywhere right now it would be back to the orphanage in Mexico that I worked at for a couple months. My husband is from Ecuador so we'd also love to go and visit his family and hop on over to the Galapagos. I have minors in Latin American Studies and Spanish so really just about every place in Lat. Am. is on my "list."

I also am in love with cheesy ol' Branson, Missouri. My family lives on Table Rock Lake and I just absolutely love it there in the Ozarks. Gotta wait for the summer for that though!

Oh, and I've been to London, but only for 8 hours because I had a really long layover and got to leave the airport. That was on my way to Israel, which was simply amazing! If you get the chance to float in the dead sea, just don't get water in your eyes....it hurts like hell-o.

List of places I'd like to visit: Alaska, Australia, China, India, Russia, South Africa, Chile (been three times, want to go again), Macchu Picchu in Peru, and one of those cruises around Antarctica. Europe holds no interest for me.

Favorite place I've been so far: Key West.

Anything coming up? No. =( Nothing out of the US at any rate.

I've been to Australia and really liked it, but it was when I was 12 and I don't remember too much.
If you're looking to go somewhere in the US, I LOVE NYC and New Orleans.

Someday I'd like to visit Greece, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Spain, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Antarctica, Argentina, and all the states I haven't been to yet.
My favorite place in the US that I've been so far is probably the Washington, DC area. I love the history! My favorite non-US place that I've been is probably a tie between Versailles (France) and Assisi (Italy).
I'm heading to England this summer, for the second time. The first time I went I was just in London, so I'm excited to be able to travel around the country this time and see other places.

I guess a rather unofficial list. I'd like to go to Australia and New Zealand. I've been pretty much everywhere else I want to go. Oh, and I'd love to visit the Mayan ruins.
My number one favorite place I've been is Venice.
In the summer, I'm going to travel with two of my friends. We're either going to do Australia (yay!) or Europe. Either way, we'd be going without parents, and traveling like poor college students. I can't wait.

I would go anywhere warm, sunny, and beachy right now if I had the time off work to do it!

I want to go to China, Russia, Australia, New Zealand, more of Southeast Asia, Europe, South America... Hawaii! So many places to see!

I have been to Japan, Thailand, Taiwan, Malta, Italy, lots of places in the Caribbean and the US.

My favourite place so far was Japan! I lived there for a year, and saw so much... temples, shrines, beautiful nature, delicious food, kind people... what an amazing country, I miss it so much!

I'm going to Australia and New Zealand with my best friend....we leave in 18 days. I'm SOOO excited, yet so nervous about leaving right now with my dog having knee issues, but she'll be in good hands with my dad and sister.

I've been to Alaska and can't wait to go back. For our next big trip (several years at least) my friend and I want to visit England, Ireland, Scotland, and Iceland, preferably on a cruise at least part of the time. My sister and I want to go to Washington DC area and visit the Smithsonian.

Well first I would have to visit Sasha in Canada but I'm not eating any flipping poutine (I hope I said that right) or vinegar on my fries. Next I would travel to New Zealand to visit my dear friend Amanda. I would absolutely go and visit Brandon and Binx in Bermuda (but don't try to get me to swim with the sharks or go in the triangle, Brandon!). I would then love to visit Chantel in the land of the leather people and alligators and sharks (no I'm not going in the Ocean thank you very much) but she said she would take me on a lion safari and that sounds fabulous!

To travel where I've always wanted to go would be Australia, Scotland, Ireland. I would love to go on an Alaskan cruise during the summer, I would love to see Niagra Falls, and of course I would love to go to Graceland with my sisters and my mom as we had planned to do before Lisa's cancer returned.

I have a cross country road trip spanning from Portland to GA coming up in about 2 weeks!!

I have friends in Chicago, San Francisco, Alaska, and Seattle so I'm trying to plan trips there (I've never been on the west coast!). Another friend I visit yearly in Vegas, and that's a blast.

For vacations I'd eventually like to see Ireland, and maybe head back out to Tucson (I lived there for a month for an internship and liked it a lot).

If you do go to Seattle for a few days, look into CityPass. It's great cheap way to see most of the major attractions.

Why not!! Poutine is sooo good, don't knock it til you try it! And there is no point in eating fries without vinegar... deelish!! :thumbsup:
