Urine

Hello again! I know ive been posting a lot. For some reason im just overly anxious lately.

My girls have their own room since i bought my first home in November. The rug is very light so i can tell when my girls decide to urinate outside the cage It is usually a light spot on th carpet, but today, it is very dark, so im worried.

I have added pictures. The dark spot is much darker in person, almost brown.

Chinchilla urine comes out very light, but it dries to be a dark brownish color. Totally normal, it's due to the alfalfa and plant substances that they eat. Sometimes apple wood bark can also cause a darker urine. As long as they are regularly consuming water, this should be completely normal.
