Update on my dad

I posted about my dad being sick in the family forum, but I am posting here so I can ask everyone to say a prayer for my family. We three kids are so spread away from our parents and we are all torn about how to use time to go be with them. We heard from our mom the diagnosis is multiple myeloma. We don't know how bad and what his treatment options are. They see the oncologist on Wednesday. I just don't want his to suffer so much. He is in so much pain already and on so much drugs. I hope treatment will help him, but we have to wait to find out.
I have never cried so hard my whole body hurts before.

Thank you. I am a 10 hour drive from "home" and my brother is 5 hours. My sister is all the way in Louisiana, so she has to fly. They are in Oregon. I am worried about my dad's will to fight and my mom. I know it's early days yet and we have to be strong. I can't imagine where Laurie drew all that strength from to fight so hard for her sister. All I can do is cry.

im so sorry you have to go through this. i cant even imagine it, but please know im sending tons of prayers up and that im hoping for the best. stay strong and just know that you'll be there soon enough.
