A quick rundown, I had a pair of 5 year old sister chinchillas, one of whom sadly passed away 2 weeks ago. (Long story short, we took her to the vets who didnt know what was wrong and she died the following day)
We have done all we can do care for the remaining chinchilla, but sadly she passed away this afternoon.
However 2 hours before she was her usual bouncy self. Bright eyes, no dishcharge, eating and pooping fine. Then we found her laid on her side, she sadly died before the Vet picked up the phone it was that fast...
Could anyone offer any explanation as to this? The chinchillas were cared for, and as I said she seemed fine hours before.
