Hi my name is Angel and I've been thinking about getting a Chin...one of my friends owns two and she loves them to death...so I thought I would join this forum that she told me about to read on things and such... I live in TN but I am probably moving to IL in the next few months...

So I've heard Ive watched them roll around in the Dust on youtube and it just makes me go awwwww. There is a lady selling them that lives aprox 2 hrs from me but I really dont have anywhere to keep the one I want...The one I want is really pretty though she is a white mosaic....I doubt she will be there in a couple of months when we move though...plus I wouldn't want to have to transport her all the way to IL it might be hard on her so I think it would be better to wait to buy one up there....

Welcome, Angel! I can tell already that you will make a great chin owner since you are taking the time to really think about the decision to get one, researching, and keeping the chin's well being at the forefront of your thoughts. Good luck with your decision. :cute:

Ty I'm really going to try to be a good chinparent when the time comes ^_^

Welcome to CnH! Keep us updated on your quest for a chinnie :)).

Welcome and good for you for waiting to get your chinnie until after the move. It would definitely be much easier on your chin to get used to you without the stress of a move. A mosaic is my dream chinnie, but I was capped at a 2 chin limit so I will be waiting with you on that one.

If you get a mosaic, you might get a chinnie ballerina!
Many people on here (myself included) have said whites are a little bonkers, but their stand up and dance maneuver is the cutest!

Welcome to the forum!!!:hithere:

Welcome to the forum, and the wonderful world of (pre)chin ownership!

Welcome to C+H! Where abouts in Illinois are you looking to move? There are a few members and breeders in the state that can help with selection, equiptment and supplies, once you're ready!

Welcome to CnH!!! We're always glad when people research first and then get the right pet at the right time.

Welcome! I think it is very smart of you to learn about chins prior to getting one. It will save you from making all kinds of newbie mistakes. There is a lot to learn about these cute little fuzzies, but they really do make wonderful pets. Please keep us updated and we need pictures when you get your new little buddy!!
