Um...Chocolate Bacon?

Stopped at the gas station after the gym to get milk. I was approached by two women who asked me if the gas station sold "Chocolate Bacon." I actually had to have them repeat it. They then explained that they are visiting from Canada and they had a friend that visited the states and came home with a chocolate bar with pieces of bacon in it. Um...yeah. Does that combination gross out anyone else?

That sounds amazing to me! I love chocolate and bacon! They actually go really well together. The salt/sweet combo. You see it alot on the food network channel. My favorite!

Not sooo fast -- we recently started carrying it at Neiman Marcus!!!

I had first heard about it on the Today Show, so when it came in, we were all eager to give it a try. I was hoping for strips of bacon covered with chocolate, but instead it's little bacon bits in a chocolate bar.

What's NOT to love??? It's sweet, salty, fat AND chocolate in one bite!!!

It might be an acquired taste, but this chocolate AND bacon loving girl liked it!!! :thumbsup:

You HAVE to try this, from VooDoo doughnuts in Portland OR. A maple bar with crisp lean bacon on top. It's like french toast with bacon. Sooo Goood

Vosges has the Mo Bacon Bar. It wasn't as good as I had hoped, could use mo bacon :laughitup:. But it was interesting.

I was not one of those people who was hopping on the "bacon is good with anything" craze. I had a friend make some chocolate chip cookies and bring me a plate. One bite and I swear I couldn't put them down. I don't even really like chocolate chip cookies. I'm an Oatmeal Raisin girl. These cookies were sweet and salty and savory and just flat out amazing. Only after my husband and I ate half the plate did she tell us they had bacon in them. I started pulling apart a cookie and lo and behold, there it was. For anyone who like sweet with just a hint of salty, make the cookies.

I've never seen the chocolate bars with bacon but my sister did pick up some chocolate covered bacon strips from the fair down in Long Beach last year. It was a nice combo but not anything I would crave. I'm just not that big of a chocolate person though.

I am a chocoholic and I just don't think I could stand bacon in my chocolate. I love bacon, don't get me wrong, but bacon and chocolate for me would be like chocolate and ranch dressing. And I think pretty much everything tastes better with ranch, but not my chocolate!

PEG! Chocolate is very healthy for you! Cocoa BEAN..comes from the ground.. Totally a vegi. Sugar Cane.. Another Vegi and chocolate has milk in it so there is a dairy! 2 vegis and a dairy in each serving!! How great is that!!!
