Hi everyone I'm trying to make my own cage liners for my FN 142 and I was wondering if the type of fleece really matters? I saw that there was an anti-pill fleece but there's also a fleece that's not specified as the anti-pill and the label says that it's 100% polyester. Is this fleece ok to use in the cages??

ohhh hmm...I wonder what the difference is then since it's not labeled as "anti-pill"..I'm asking because I went to look at fleece and the cute printed fleeces at walmart were not labeled anti-pill just 100% polyester so I was wondering if I could buy those. the only anti-pill they had were just solid prints =(

Anti pill means that after washes, the fleece won't get little balls all over it, which can be easily ingested.

good question Mookie! i was looking at my snuggie that i never use and was considering cutting it up to make shelf liners for my house guest Gery. her cage is a crappy one with wire shelves and because of that she spends most of her time in her hammock or in her empty dust house. if the snuggie would work that would be awesome!

I use any kind of fleece. I watch store clearance racks for the $4 fleece throws and make liners and accessories out of those, too. The anti-pill stuff is just higher quality, but my chins don't mess with the fleece so I don't worry about them eating it, regardless of the quality.
