Ok another thing I got off chincare radio/music during the day and TV for them at night? yes or no? IF no anyone want to buy a 50"plasma(told you they were going to be spoiled:) Btw, the tv sale is a joke not trying to hawk electronics on here just saying it's what's in their room atm.

I play them TV all the time, they love it. They love music...they love noise. I wouldn't worry about bothering them with the tv and radio. The constant drone of it doesn't bother them one bit. In fact, if I turn off the radio, all I get is unhappy barking chins that NEED the radio back on. Some ranchers swear that chins are more productive if they have music playing all the time (there's something extra special about country music apparently) and there was one who had this little TV in the room with the chins. The chins just stared and stared at that little black and white TV like it was the best thing ever... :D I think they played that TV all day long for the chinnies.

Does anyone know if chins can see with just one eye or the other because sometimes it seems to me they are watching the TV without turning their head, just using the right eyeball (they all have 2 normal eyes)

I don't leave the TV on for Shelly when I'm not home. I have noticed that she loves watching the TV. It really does not matter what is on. She will watch anything from True Blood to my bf and step son playing games on the playstation. She will even up on the TV stand and sit there next to the TV. I used to think it was bad for her little ears, but she seems to enjoy it.

I don't have the tv on during the day b/c Idgie is sleeping. I often leave the tv on during the evening when she is awake for a few hours. She does like the flashing lights. If I am watching tv in the next room, I just turn the volume off on the tv in her room and she can hear mine.

Believe it or not, her favorite show is American Idol with all the music, clapping, and flashing. At times, she has been known to lean around you if you are blocking her view of the tv

I leave the tv on during the day for my dog whose in his crate and the chins just benefit from that. :))

My chin doesn't get a tv or radio to listen to, she is in a room without either. But she is surrounded by the noise of birds and kids all day long, so I figure she actually enjoys the quiet moments when they come around.
