Sounds stupid, but I'm on my way out to get some fleece and make some pillows for the chins, just curious as to what type of thread is best?

I have a sewing machine (yes guys can sew ;) ) some real old thread, but think something better would be in order. (my mother used this machine to make MY clothes over 32 years ago!)

Stitches will be on the inside, so it wont be seen, except maybe the section I use to close off the pillow after I stuff it with fleece.

Any suggestions? (On thread or any other pillow making issues I should be aware of?

I would leave a flap on the pillow and stuff the pillows with strips of fleece remnants. This way if someone makes a mess of it you can take the stuffing out and wash it. This is also nice if you have a chewer because than they can't get to the stuffing that can cause an impaction. Most don't chew fleece but you never know.

ETA: The fleece you chose is very cute.

Cute fabric choice. I also use a general purpose thread for all my fleece sewing.
