I'm thinking of using my show rabbit carrier for transporting 3 male and 1 female chin. It's like these

except it was a 4 hole and we pulled the middle divider making a big square and 2 side slots. We fill the bottom tray with pine pellets and cover the wire floor with hay. The side slots are just big enough for a chin or medium sized rabbit to turn around and hop a couple times forward. I think this would be safer than leaving them in the critter nation cages because they could get thrown around if something happens. I would use 2 cat carriers but they take up a lot more space and can't be stacked with things because they aren't flat on the top. We have to fit it all in our crv.

i use a very similar carrier for my chins. Just make sure you clean it thoroughly since it was used for rabbits before.

A lot of show folk use flats like that which are just made for chins, just usually a smaller spacing hole. That will work fine. Like Javachin said though... definitely wash it out good because diseases can transfer. I'd probably just bleach it down, let it soak, then hose it off. :D

I used that type of carrier when I first started. Now I make my own that are similar only smaller holes and wire spacing.
