Tiling a Ferret Nation

I was looking at my girl's cages and realized that they are plain. I've been shooting ideas through my head and needed an answer for something
For those of you who took tile how do you do it? Can the middle section hold a good amount of weight so it won't collapse on my little ladies?

Tile weighs a lot. You would have to build a support system to hold it. Personally I wouldn't do chance it.

Lots of people have tiled ferret nations, here is one thread and if you do a search on "ferret nation tile" there are a few more.

I have had tile in my cages for over 13 years, never had any issues, you can clean it really well unlike wood shelves.

It depends on the cage you have. Some can handle the weight and others need more support. It also depends on the tile you choose to use. They come in different thicknesses which can add more weight as well.
