Tiffany and JailBreak Roxxx

Hi everyone! I'm Tiffany and I live in Denver, CO. I just adopted my first Chinchilla ever. He is 3.5 years old and we adopted him from the CO Springs Shelter.

He is very ver social and easy going. The only thing that he does is get a bit upset is when we try to pick him up out of his cage. He will come out of his cage onto us and we can reach in and pet him just fine. I think it's cause at the shelter they would just reach in and pull him out of his sleepy spot so I think he's still getting used to the idea we aren't going to mess with his privacy.

It's good to give him some time to relax and get used to things before you start handling him too much.

Thanks everyone!! We named him Jail Break and I'm sure you all can figure out why LOL. We let him settle for a bit when we got him home and then he just wanted some love and kept staring at us and begging for attention. He's a good guy, a little Chubby but hey more to love!!
