I know Ive seen these discussed before, but i cant seem to find what i was looking for in the search.

What types of thermometers do you use at home to monitor temp/humidity etc.? I want to get one shortly, just unsure of which kind i want.

I bought mine at Wal-mart for under $9. It measures both temperature and humidity.

I can't find it on Wal-Mart's website but found it on amazon -

I have this one. I like it because I can see at a glance what the highest and lowest readings were - so if I'm gone for the day and it got hot but has since cooled down, I know I need to make a change.

How good is the magnet in that thing? Chances are i might have to hand it on the wall or something. Buts its only designed with a magnet and a regular stand.

Couldn't tell you, I have it sitting on a shelf near my cage.

I actually have this exact one too. I've had it for about 2 years now and it's been great. I especially love the high/low readings. It does it for both temp. and humidity.
