Anyone know of a good DIGITAL thermometer that won't put a giant hole in my pocket? I'd like the have one near the cage [but not hooked on it, my girl would chew it up], preferably one that has a stand, be it one it can slide into, or a back that folds out [like a picture frame]. Yes, I'm a paranoid parent to my little girl, but she's going to be moved to another room that's still cool [It will have her new FN 142 in it], but I'd like to monitor it the temperature anyway. Thanks!

Check online cigar stores. I use a digital thermometer/hygrometer from one of my old cigar humidors. I like that option because you get temp & humidity and they're usually small to fit inside humidors. Some of them also come with a feature so you can check max/min readings. I don't remember how much I paid for it but I know it wasn't expensive at all. It looks something like this:
They sell these at Thompson Cigars for $25. I don't remember paying that much for mine though...

I got one from Home Depot for around $15 that does temp/humidity and has a sensor for outside too. I hung it on the wall but I think it also has a stand.

I got 2 at Wal-mart, the cheapest digital was $6.99, the other one was $9.99 that tells temp plus humidity.
