Once upon a time, a resin cow found himself in a place called "Goodwill".
He sat there alone for the longest time, as various objects around him were sold. Time began to have no meaning, as he waited for his turn to go to a home, and not sit upon a store shelf collecting dust.
Then one day someone picked him up! Oh the joy he felt! Inside he beamed, it was finally his turn. He sold for $2. He sat excited inside a plastic bag, wondering what the future held.
Upon arriving to his new home, he found himself among his own kind! He beamed with happiness. What a wonderful place!
It was not long before the other cows noticed him, glaring at him with disdain.
"You're covered in dirt and filthy!" proclaimed Ms. Rhinestone cowgirl. "What a worthless collectable you are!"
The cow had never noticed he was different, but looking upon himself he noticed a thin layer of dirt. He moved towards the shadows of the shelf to hide.
"You're broken!" proclaimed a rare "I love Lucy" cow. "You have no horns, and one ear, what a disgrace you are!"
The cow hung his head in shame, moving further into the shadows. He had never noticed when he was alone that he was broken.
As he moved deeper into the darkness he noticed the most beautiful cow he had ever seen.
"Ignore them, they know not of what they speak," Glinda the good witch cow smiled softly. "I too was brought to this place broken" she told him, bowing her head. He noticed a single point broken off of her crown.
"But you have both horns and two ears!" he proclaimed.
"You will be fixed." Glinda assured him.
He could only stare, and wonder. Was such a thing possible?
To be continued....
I already bought the supplies to try and give him new horns and a ear. He is a fix-er-upper.
