Now *that's* a Pitt Bull. "Gotti lines" and all that in and out crossing have really changed the public perception of what these dogs are supposed to be like.

In Jan/Feb, we plan to adopt a APBT mix though, from the shelter or rescue.

There is such an unnecessary prejudice against these beautiful dogs! Yes, some have been made to do bad things, but they consistently rank highest in obedience training.

I learned doing research on our new male dog (he's supposedly a lab, shepherd, boxer mix, but he looks like an AmStaff to me), and we found out so much about the history behind them. I didn't know APBTs and AmStaffs were the same thing!

I love pit bulls. People give them a bad rap. But if you think back, dobermans, Rotties, and other such dogs had them once too.... It all depends on their breeding and upbringing.

haha thats so great. i watched a show about people wanting to get their dogs into movies and commercials and stuff, but none of them had even the slightest basic obedience, now THATS a well trained dog. and so beautiful too!
