I LOVED THIS MOVIE.

Most definitely one of the best Disney cartoon they've done in YEARS. I'm so glad that Disney decided to go with illustration this time instead of doing computer animation. (Though Toy Story 3 looks amusing.) I firmly believe Disney needs to go back to what made Disney. It's illustrated Disney cartoons, it's much better then what they put out now.

I stood in a line of 3-6 year olds (jeremy=22; today i turned 20) and I realized that they've only been exposed to Disney cartoons IF their parents showed them. I grew up with Disney (and had decided that if I had to, i'd run over any child to get the seat I wanted...I've been waiting years for a new disney cartoon--they haven't even been alive that long!!)

They had Miley Cyrus' new movie preview and the little girls went crazy. >_<

Err...don't get me started.

I loved the cartoon.

Oh, and for anyone that lives in Louisiana (I live in houma)--best line in the entire cartoon.

Prince Naveen: "We come from a far away land..."
Raymond (the "cajun" firefly): "Non, get out---You from Shreveport?"

I was crying. It was so funny. All the adults laughed.

I just downloaded this movie and it was good. I miss the Disney cartoons. It was a good one to come back to. Im a little upset about what happened to Ray. I see WHY they did it but before that was a bit unnecessary.

All in all it was a good movie.

We saw lots of previews and heard a lot about it while we were at Disney. It looks like a lot of work went into it, can't wait to see it.

Ray is probably one of the saddest Disney death's after Mufasa and Bambi's mom.

I hope Disney realizes they were doing much better with their classic cartoons then the new computer animated ones. (Except Finding Nemo and Wall-E < those were good. bolt (with Miley Cyrus..not so much)

I went to see this with my niece, but as soon as she saw the new Chipmunk movie was playing she changed her mind. We'll go see it next week I'm sure. I too am excited about a new "real" Disney movie! One of my friends took her daughter and was very upset by the "voodoo" stuff. Me, I think kids just see it as magic! Anyone else concerned with their kids being exposed to "dark magic"?

I'm a lot more concerned about them being exposed to weapons at schoool. <rolls eyes>

I have not seen this yet, but am looking forward to it. I too think that the movies have lost a lot when they went to all animated instead of cartoon.

Just got back from seeing this. It was great! Loved the music and story. Love that it had a strong female character. Loved that New Orleans was so prominent in the storyline. All in all a super cute movie! :D
