HOME OF EXTREME MOSAICS!
As some of you remember I got a female rat, male rat, 5 juvenile rats, and 8 newborn baby rats.
I had intended on getting ONE rat as a pet for my 11 year old and came across these that were used as breeding rats for a reptile enthusiast. I went home with them all.
I separated the juvenile females (4 of them) into one cage, Dad and one baby juvenile male in another cage, and Mom with 8 newborns in another cage.
I was lucky enough to find homes for the juvenile girls (gave them away in pairs) to families who wanted pets for their children (not snake food) and today Daddy rat and baby juvenile boy went to another lady as pets for her son.
This leaves me with Mommy rat (siamese markings) and 8 babies now 3 weeks old. I thought I would post pictures of them, as they are sooooo cute!
There are four black and white, three brown and white, and one odd ball that is cream coloured with a big black spot on its bum.
Soon I will do the separating again, of boys with boys, and girls with girls, and will rehome all but two (mother and whatever girl baby my daughter chooses) They are all so adorable I thought I would post pictures for my fellow rat lovers out there!
