My dad really liked a Teriyaki Chicken that me and my mom were buying from the store but the stores just stopped selling it. He has complained about it.

So I was wondering if anyone had any yummy Teriyaki Chicken recipes they'd like to share.

Also, I know you can get the sauce or whatever to put on the chicken and let it soak it in. Does anyone have a brand that they prefer over others?

Thanks in advance!

This is not really a recipe, and not at all authentic, but my favorite way of making teriyaki chicken is in the crock pot. I use boneless skinless chicken thighs, place in crock pot and pour in maybe a cup of teriyaki sauce. I like Soy Vay. Cook for 6-8 hrs on low.

I saute some fresh veggies in my wok, put those and the chicken over jasmine rice.

Teriyaki is the combination of soy sauce and brown sugar. Knowing what the sauce from your store tasted like you can pick up different brands of soy sauce and try to replicate it. :))

You may need to dilute it a bit, for example I use something like 1TBS Kikkoman soy + 1/4ish cup water and 1/4 cup not packed brown sugar. Or somewhere thereabouts, I always mix to taste.

You can also fry ramen noodles in the above and make some very yummy pan fried noodles. Mmmm...

I use SoyVay too. I marinate the chicken overnight so it really soaks in. Then I bake it covered for about 30 mins, then bake uncovered for another 30-40 mins or so.
