Does anyone know or in contact with Tennessee Chinchilla Rescue in Dowelltown Tennessee?

I placed an order with them in December last year and I still have not received it. Any attempt to contact them via the emails given by paypal and at their website, mylittlechinchillas.com, went unanswered.

I just want to know what’s going on before I decide file a complaint with paypal. The weather this year has been unusual, so I thought that the delay might be weather related. Anyway, this is my last attempt to contact them.

You only have 45 days to file with Paypal. Your window of opportunity has passed to file with Paypal.

If you backed the Paypal payment with a credit card, many credit card companies allow you 90 days. You can file a complaint with them to have the charges reversed. If you didn't, though, there's nothing you can do.

Go to your paypal account, and click on the details for this transaction. Because they have a business account, there is a phone number attached to the account, and it shows in the details. You can see if that helps.

I have had the SAME EXACT problem. I have tried contacting her/them numerous times via email and I NEVER get a response. I ordered apple wood back in December and after one month of NOT receiving it I inquired and was told that she sent EXTRA wood to make up for being so late. Still NOTHING has come!!!! I have requested my money back, but so far no response.

I tried to go through Paypal but they told me they couldn't help resolve the problem.

Please try and contact Robbie again, the last I heard she was having some serious health problems with her grand mother and was having to help take care of her. She hasn't been on any of the forums that I frequent. She is VERY dedicated to anything chinchilla and I know that she is not deliberatly ignoring any of your emails. She's spending as much time with her grandmother as possible while she still can.

Contact her again in case she hasn't read all her emails yet. Just put yourself in her shoes and try to be a little more patient with her. She really needs our kind words right now.:hearts:

I would think then Cheryl, if she can't provide the merchandise that was promised, at the very least she would refund the money. This is the second thread to show up on here about this, so it's been an ongoing issue. It takes seconds to refund someone's money.

I am very sorry for Robbie's grandma, and I certainly understand wanting to be with her, but she can't be with her 24/7 and the refunds just aren't that complicated to do.

I'm surprised paypal said they couldn't do anything. Did you file the dispute after the 45 days? If so, then I can understand, but normally paypal is really good about getting you your money back. Unless of course they don't have any money in their account.

The only problem is that when the "seller" repeatedly tells the "buyer" that they "have shipped your items and doesn't understand why you haven't received it", the buyer kinda waits a little longer for the package to arrive. Then, when the "buyer" contacts the "seller" and the seller says "Oh I'm sorry, I have been busy and didn't have time to ship it (mind you, she already told you she shipped it)....but I'll send it out today. Then you wait a little longer. Before you know it...45 days have passed.

Oh.. yeah, well that could be a problem. Did you save any copies of the contact back and forth where they said they shipped it and then later said they hadn't? I wonder if you could send those to paypal or something to get the money back. I can understand the 45 day limit so that the buyer doesn't try to get money back after they've used it a while, but I wonder if they ever extend it for people who never got their products?

It's important, whenever you use Paypal, to fund your payment with a credit card, or at the very least, your Visa/MC debit card.

When you make your payment, you have to click "other funding sources" and choose credit card. That way, if Paypal cannot help you, you can file a dispute with your credit card company, which is supposed to protect you, or your debit card, which has some protections in place, but perhaps not as much as a credit card. You would need to contact your bank to see what is protected and what is not; you usually have 90 days from the day of purchase, but some give up to 6 months. You should back every purchase made with Paypal with a credit card, so you have some recourse.

I was in the same boat as everyone else, but after a month of no contact, in spite of polite friendly emails, PM, and a phone call, I filed with Paypal and immediately escalated it. I had an email response within 2 hours from Robbie.

My package did arrive, and she did send extra wood also.

Alli, Paypal will not extend it. 45 days, ok...46, nope.

You have two ways you can file with Paypal; one, Not Received, the other, Significantly not as described. You have one chance to file, and must pick one or the other. It must be done in the 45 day time frame. Paypal will not help.

I have ordered feed from Tennessee Chinchilla Rescue many times and have never had a problem until recently. I emailed a couple times and never got a response but I did get a paypal shipping and tracking email a couple days ago. I hope everyone else gets their stuff! All of my previous orders from her have been very quick and easy and when paypal wasn't working she was very easy to get a hold of and work things out. I wish her family well.

I purchased from her one time only and I never will purchase from her again when there was a CnQ.

Oh good lord I hope I actually get my packages. I just won a wheel and 4 hole carrier on ebay. On my paypal receipt, lo and behold this is what I see:

"You sent a payment of $--.-- USD to Tennessee Chinchilla Rescue ([email protected])."
