Wally has been grinding his teeth since he had giardia and I force-fed him almost two months ago.

He is still eating and pooping. He has plenty of chew toys and uses those. What is with this random grinding? Is he in pain?

I am not in the room with him 24/7 but if I had to guess, I'd say it happens a couple of times a day. Maybe once an hour when he's awake at dusk. I'm not sure though.

Sometimes chins grind and click their teeth when they are a little angry or just because. It doesn't sound like he's doing it because he's in pain or anything. Once an hour for a little while doesn't sound too bad to me...I have a few that do that type of thing.

Chia has always done this as well, and hasn't ever shown signs of pain. She seems to do it when she's excited, sometimes just out of nowhere.

Vincenza does it when she's annoyed about something. What, I have no idea. But she'll sit on her watch perch, stare at me and click.

Ernie does the same thing when hes mad or about to sleep and he has no problems at all~

my chilla will only do that if I have given her an oat or rose hip and she wants more....her teeth and appetite are fine I think its her way of trying to get my attention to give in to her
