Taming my little wanderer

I just recently became a chinchilla owner about 8 months ago. I got my little chin Winston when he was about 2 months old. He's always been very curious and loves to escape and run around my apartment. It's cute but I don't know what to do to get him to stop running away from me when I let him run loose. How do I get him to be a little more tame?

You really shouldn't let him have free run of the apartment at all. Try blocking off a small area with a play pen, or use the bathroom to contain his play area a bit.
