Hi,
I'm a pretty new owner, I've had my chinchilla for about a year and a half. I got a second chinchilla and so the two of them have been bouncing off the bars of the cages to try and get to eat other. I noticed my older chin had a tow that looked enlarged but it doesn't seem to be red, he's walking and jumping fine, and he doesn't show pain when it's touched. I am going to take him to the vet to get it checked out but should I be extremely concerned?
Here are pictures of his toe:

Sorry for the dark pictures!
